LANSING, Mich. – A Niles man is looking forward to being "out of debt" after winning a $208,225 Fantasy 5 jackpot from the Michigan Lottery.

He bought his winning ticket at the Phillips 66 gas station at 2326 South 11th Street in Niles.

"I stop twice a week to buy lottery tickets on my way home from work, and I happened to stop last Tuesday," Bolle said. "I get up pretty early for work, so I checked my ticket online right before bed around 8 p.m. that night. When I say I had three numbers I got pretty excited. When I saw I matched all five I could barely move."

After seeing he'd won a Fantasy 5 jackpot, Bolle went to share the good news with his wife of 39 years, Rita.

"When Stanley came to tell me he’d won I kept thinking, 'Why is he getting so excited over a few bucks?'" Rita Bolle said. "When I saw how much he'd really won, I couldn't believe it. I was so happy."

The Bolles visited lottery headquarters Monday to collect the jackpot. With his winnings, Bolle plans to pay bills, complete some home repairs and take his wife on a trip.

"I'm really looking forward to being out of debt, but my wife and I never had a real honeymoon so I can't wait to take her on a trip," Bolle said.
