Marysville credit union robbery, car chase ends with arrests in Harrison Township

Suspects may be involved in prior robbery in Port Huron Township

MARYSVILLE, Mich. – Three suspects have been arrested in the robbery of the Genisys Credit Union in Marysville following a chase that ended in the area of Interstate-94 and Metro Parkway in Harrison Township.

The robbery occurred shortly before 10 a.m. Friday. No one was hurt during the robbery.

At least two of the suspects are believed to be possibly linked to the robbery of the Citizens First Bank at Lapeer and 32nd Street in Port Huron Township on Jan. 20.

The Marysville police, St. Clair County Sheriff's Office, Michigan State Police and Macomb County Sheriff's Office all were involved in the arrest of the suspects.

The Marysville Police Department will be the investigating agency for the robbery.
