Michigan bill proposes end to Daylight Saving Time
LANSING, Mich. – Michigan lawmakers are looking to end Daylight Saving Time.
A house bill introduced Wednesday, the first day of the new session, proposed eliminating the biannual time change.
In 2015, a similar bill was introduced but didn't go anywhere.
If the bill makes it's way through legislature this time and on to Governor Rick Snyder's desk, Michigan would join Hawaii and Arizona as states that don't fully observe Daylight Saving Time.
Daylight Saving Time forces clocks to be moved ahead one hour on the second Sunday in March and 'Fall Back' an hour on the first Sunday in November.
