Man shot and killed at block party in Ypsilanti

YPSILANTI, Mich. – A man was shot and killed at a block party at Brooks and Watling streets in Ypsilanti after midnight Sunday, according to police.

Keandre Duff of Ypsilanti was shot in the back of the head and later died at the hospital. He was 20.

According the Michigan Department of Corrections, Duff was on probation for drug charges and sources say he was connected to a shooting in the same neighborhood last summer.

As of now there is no one in custody and there is not a description of the shooter.
