Michigan politicians offered few words on Twitter following the inauguration of President Donald Trump on Friday.
Lt. Gov. Brian Calley sent a high five from the Mitten State and wished Trump well shortly after the swearing in while Rep. John Conyers expressed gratitude for having the opportunity to witness two of former President Barack Obama’s inaugurations minutes after the oath.

Other leaders in Michigan, like Sens. Debbie Stabenow and Gary Peters, haven’t tweeted since posting about the Save Health Care rally held in Warren on Sunday.
Gov. Rick Snyder hasn’t tweeted about the inauguration. Rep. Fred Upton posted a photo “welcoming fellow Michiganders to the Inaugural festivities” on Thursday, but hasn’t tweeted anything else.
