View: Gov. Snyder's Flint Water Timeline
Governor Rick Snyder has released a timeline of events in the Flint water crisis.
According to this timeline, which dates back to 2006, studies suggested Flint River water could be safely treated. The city began using the river water 8 years after those studies on April 25, 2014.
