WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A Washington Township home went up in flames Friday.
Sky4 was over the scene in the 5700 block of Julian Court, as firefighters battled the blaze.

The Macomb County Sheriff's Office said the homeowners were out of town, but their children - who are in their 20s -- were home and got out safe.
The fire appears to have started in the basement of the home.
