Warren police investigators say cadaver dogs came up with positive hits at the home of Loyd and Kim Dejohn.
Investigators found strong indications that the home has been altered to mask evidence of a crime. It's now a homicide investigation. However, there still isn't any sign of Kim Dejohn who has been missing since May 14.
Some of the biggest clues are coming from what Dejohn's husband is telling her family.
"(Loyd) told me that they got in a fight and the cops were called," said Dawn Hyslop, Kim's sister.
Police say they were able to get aggravated domestic violence charges on Loyd Dejohn based on that fight with his wife which he allegedly told police about.
However, there is no record of police going to the home after the fight.
"Then the story switched, that they got in a fight and my sister took off," said Hyslop. "Well, deep down inside, if my sister took off, where is she?"
Loyd Dejohn was arrested Friday. He is considered a person of interest in the case of his missing wife and is being held on a $500,000 bond at the Macomb County Jail.
