Missing Warren woman's family grows more concerned, fears worst

Kim Dejohn has been missing since May 14

WARREN, Mich. – Kim Dejohn's daughter Jennifer Outman has started a Facebook page called "Please share and pray for my mom's safe return."

Outman doesn't know if there will be a safe return of her mother.

"I'm fearing that I'm never going to see her again, and if I do she's not going to be alive and it's not going to be good," she said.

Warren police investigators found signs of violence inside the Dejohn home on Sherwood Avenue. Kim's husband, Loyd Dejohn, admitted there was a fight. He has been charged with aggravated domestic violence and is jailed on a $500,000 bond.

In the home, police also found signs of the destruction of evidence and the attempt to cover up evidence. Still, there is no sign of Kim Dejohn.

On Thursday, investigators spent the day in Millersburg, Mich. where Loyd's grandmother has a home on Lake Wilson. Cadaver dogs were used while investigators searched the home, barn, lake area and a marshy area nearby.

Nothing was found.

"It's just hard top grasp and it's like one of those things that you would normally see on TV in other peoples' families or a TV show for that matter," said Outman.

Kimberly Dejohn was last seen in the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 14, but wasn't reported missing until May 28.
