Warm and humid, with increasing thunderstorm chances as the day progresses

DETROIT – Partly cloudy, warm and humid today, with increasing thunderstorm chances as we progress through the day. Some of the afternoon and evening storms could be strong, so periodically check the radar on our free weather app (download from the app store…search for WDIV). Thunderstorm chances continue tonight, with the best chance being during the 1st half of the night. Still muggy, with lows in the mid 60s.

Skies will eventually become partly cloudy on Tuesday and, although it'll be a muggy start to the day, you'll notice lower humidity move in during the afternoon. Highs near 80.

Wednesday starts out dry, with shower chances returning by mid-to-late afternoon. Cooler, with highs in the mid 70s.

Partly cloudy on Thursday, with highs in the low to mid 70s.
