Four people have been charged in connection with the death of a Clinton Township party store owner.
Macomb County Prosecutor Eric Smith on Friday charged Clinton Rayshawn Grayson, 24, Darius Diaz Gaskin, 24, and Kenneth Hill, 26, with identical counts of felony murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and felony firearm.
A fourth suspect is in custody and will be charged with the same crimes, Smith said.
Basil Sulaka died March 28 when three masked gunmen stormed Moon Lite Party Store, shooting him. The gunmen also stole money from the cash registers.
The 51-year-old had owned the store for 18 years.
He was married to his wife, Linda, for 21 years. Saluka left behind two daughters, 19-year-old Bianca and 17-year-old Kayla.
For Bianca, it's hard for her to come to her father's party store. She still can't believe he's gone.
"He was a great man, love to laugh, love to smile," said Bianca. "It doesn't register. How can someone be so evil?"
But a little bit of solace came Friday six weeks after Basil Sulaka was shot and killed inside his Clinton Township store. Police have arrested and charged four people in connection to the crime.
"Feels good they can't do this to anyone else," said Bianca.
Justice for her father, said Bianca, although her family will never be the same.
”Wasted their whole life and do this to another family," said Bianca.
