DETROIT – A 60-year-old woman’s body was found Thursday night in a backyard on Detroit’s east side, police said.
A neighbor called 911 after discovering the body on Edgefield Street.
Police said there was trauma to the body and it appears that the woman had been assaulted.
The cause of death is unknown.
The investigation is continuing.
