Passengers taken to hospital after DDOT bus hit tractor

No major injuries visible on passengers

DETROIT – Four people were taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon after the DDOT bus they were riding in hit a tractor pulling lawn cutting gear near Mack Avenue and Chene Street in Detroit. The tractor was headed northbound on Chene Street through the intersection at Mack Avenue when the bus hit the gear that the tractor was pulling.

The drivers of the bus and the tractor were uninjured. Nine passengers were transported to the hospital with no major visible injuries.

Both front windows of the bus were blown out.
