WARREN, Mich. – Police are searching for a 34-year-old man in connection to the homicide of a woman in a Warren apartment.
Anthony Iannotti is wanted in connection with the death of 62-year-old Dona Lawrence. She was found Thursday in her apartment complex on Schoenher Road, between 13 Mile Road and Masonic Boulevard.

Neighbors said they saw a man wearing a red T-shirt and khaki shorts go to the complex and knock on Lawrence’s door while calling her name. The neighbors saw her let him into the apartment. Police were on the scene about 30 minutes later.
“I want to find out who did this,” her daughter, Renee Lawrence, said. “I want to find out why somebody would hurt my mom.”
Iannotti is also wanted in connection with a home invasion earlier that day in Warren. He might be driving Lawrence’s blue Daewoo Nubira, with Michigan license plate DAC 5379.
