Police chase ends with minibike driving through front door of home

PONTIAC, Mich. – A 22-year-old Pontiac man was arrested Thursday after he fled police while riding an unlicensed minibike and drove it through the front door of a home on Green Street.

Police say an officer say the unlicensed minibike pull onto W. Huron Street and activated the patrol car's lights and siren. The driver of the minibike refused to stop and fled at a high speed. The chase ended with the minibike driving through the front door of the Green Street home.

Police went into the residence and took the driver of the minibike into custody. The suspect was lodged at the Oakland County Jail and charged with fleeing and eluding police, resisting and obstructing, DWLS and operating an unregistered motor vehicle on a roadway.
