Police release photos in effort to identify pedestrian killed in Taylor

TAYLOR - Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a pedestrian that was killed Friday night in Taylor.

The woman was hit at about 10:35 p.m. at Eureka Road and Westlake Street.

She was taken to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police determined the driver was not at fault, though the driver was taken into custody for driving with a suspended license.

The victim is described as white, between 50 and 60 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs about 130 pounds and has brown hair. She has a dragon or tiger tattoo on her right thigh in black ink. She also had on a gold chain with a cross.

Anyone who may know the identity of the woman is asked to call the Taylor Police Department.
