DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department has released a sketch of a person of interest who is wanted for questioning in connection with the assault of a 2-year-old girl.

Police said 2-year-old Robyn Rivers was seriously injured Wednesday when a man threw a brick through a car window and hit her in the head. She is recovering from a fractured skull.

The man ran out in front of the car at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday at the I-75 Service Drive and Forest in Detroit. He then ran back to the sidewalk, picked up a brick and threw it at the car, police said.

The brick crashed through the rear passenger window and hit Robyn Rivers in the head, police said. She was taken to Children's Hospital in critical condition.

The man involved with the incident is described as a black male in his teens, 5 feet 7 inches tall with a light complexion and a low cut dark-colored hairstyle.
