Police searching for Plymouth hit-and-run driver

PLYMOUTH, Mich. – Plymouth police are asking for the public's help finding a driver who hit a pedestrian Thursday and left the scene.

Authorities say a person was walking on Main Street near Penniman Avenue at 5:40 p.m. A car turned from eastbound Penniman Avenue onto northbound Main Street and hit the person in the crosswalk. The car drove away from the scene.

The victim is currently in the hospital.

The suspect car is a dark four-door sedan, believed to be a newer model Lincoln with partial plate of "BD6." There may be damage on the hood and driver's side of the sedan. You can see the sedan in the surveillance image above.
