DETROIT – Police are searching for a person of interest in the case of a deadly hit-and-run on Detroit's west side. The man in the photos below is believed to be a possible witness to the hit-and-run.
A woman was killed Thursday when she was crossing the street near West McNichols just east of Telegraph Road, police said.

Police said while the woman was crossing the street, she was hit by an SUV. She was knocked to the ground and hit by several more cars.
The first car that hit her took off and police are looking for the driver.
The victim's name has not been made public.
