Police seek Plymouth Township bank robbery suspect

Police say man robbed Bank of America at 5 Mile, Beck roads

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Plymouth Township police are searching for the suspect in a Friday afternoon robbery at the Bank of America on the corner of Beck and 5 Mile roads.

Police say a man between 25 and 30 years old entered the bank about 1:20 p.m., handed the teller a note which demanded money and the teller's wallet, and also asked the teller not to place any dye packets in the money bag.

The suspect is described as a white man standing about 5 feet 5 inches or 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing between 140 and 160 pounds.

He was wearing a navy blue shirt with the flag of England on it with the word "England" in white block letters and a navy blue baseball hat with a brown patch on the front. He also was wearing a gold chain and has a tattoo behind his left ear, possibly of a five-point star.
