DETROIT - A day after Detroit police released video that shows a woman hiding a gun in her underwear before opening fire on a driver at a gas station, three people are in custody.
Surveillance cameras were rolling just after 4 a.m. Sunday at a Mobil gas station at Fenkell and Greenfield roads when two groups of people got into an argument.
The video shows the woman and three other people standing outside a Dodge Charger when a Pontiac Grand Prix pulls into the station. Words are exchanged, and the woman retrieves a handgun from the Charger's glove box, police said.
The victim, who was struck by several bullets, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The gas station’s cameras are part of “Project GreenLight,” a partnership with the city in which the cameras feed directly back to the police department.
