Police working to ID body found last October in Brownstown Township

BROWNSTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police are asking for help identifying a man's body which was found Oct. 29, 2014 in a wooded area in Brownstown Township.

Michigan State Police say hunters found the body, which is a white man. The body was badly decomposed, leading police to believe it had been in the woods for a while.

Police are not releasing a cause of death until the man's family is notified. They have released a couple sketches of what they believe the man looked like for decomposition set in. His death is not believed to be a homicide.

The body was wearing a Led Zeppelin T-shirt and a new pair of white tennis shoes.

Police also released a photo of a small transistor radio found on the person. It has a pull-out antenna and runs on batteries.
