As the Mackinac Policy Conference continues today at the Grand Hotel, there will be plenty of talk about reinventing and revitalizing Detroit with the STEM-trained entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

Those folks, the 20-and-30-somethings so many see as essential to Detroit's future, gathered near Mackinac for their own counter-conference--Assemble@Mackinac(ish).

The event, organized by the Assemble organization that grew out of Detroit's X Games bid, is an attempt to give a public policy voice to a segment of the population outside the Chamber of Commerce-sphere.

You can watch livestreams and taped segments from Assemble@Mackinac(ish) here.
