Poll: Rick Snyder leads Mark Schauer by 5 percent

Gary Peters ahead of Terri Lynn Land by 1 percent

LANSING, Mich. – The primary election may be over and done but Local 4 has received brand-new poll numbers looking ahead to November.

According to a new Mitchell Poll conducted Tuesday night, Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder is ahead of Democrat Mark Schauer by 5 percent, a 1-point increase from Snyder compared to last month.

In what's shaping up to be a nasty battle for U.S. Senate, it's neck in neck.

Democrat Gary Peters is ahead of Republican Terri Lynn Land by just 1 percent -- 45 percent to 44 percent.
