TROY, Mich. – Power is back on to more than 1,800 DTE Energy customers in the Troy and Clawson area after an outage early Friday morning.
According to DTE's outage map, the affected area was between Maple and 14 Mile Roads, Coolidge Highway and Livernois Road.

DTE spokesman Scott Simons said the outage was caused by a problem with a generator that was in place as a temporary fix for a different outage that happened earlier this week.
