DETROIT – On Wednesday, President Barack Obama will travel to the Detroit area to highlight the workers in the resurgent American automotive and manufacturing sector. The trip comes after the auto rescue has been completed and the decision to save the auto industry and over one million jobs that go with it.
The visit to Detroit comes between a meeting with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto at the White House and a trip to Phoenix to highlight the recovering housing sector.
