More info sought from party goers about missing Chelsea Bruck

22-year-old woman missing since attending Oct. 26 Halloween party in Frenchtown Township

FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities would like to talk to a man who, they say, was talking to a 22-year-old woman before she disappeared from a Halloween party in Monroe County.

Chelsea Bruck went missing the night of Oct. 26 from a party at a home on Post Road in Frenchtown Township. A witness says she was having a casual conversation with a man before they left toward the parking lot. Police have released a sketch of what that man may look like:

A witness reported seeing Bruck walking about 3 a.m. Oct. 27 with the man. She was wearing a costume of the fictional comic villain Poison Ivy.

Police say there were about 600 costumed people at the party. They showed video from a similar party during a news conference on Wednesday to give people an idea of how massive the event was.

Monroe County Sheriff Dale Malone says they've received about 300 tips and interviewed about 140 people but most were "intoxicated or stoned at the scene."

They're searching Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. They want video or photos from anyone who was at the party.

Mike Williams was the man throwing the party. A search warrant has been executed at his home. He has been cooperating with police and is not a person of interest in the case.

"I've been trying to talk to the mother. She didn't really want to talk to me. I think she's kind of upset with me in a way, which I understand," Williams told Local 4 last week.
