Redford Township Kroger store to close

REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Kroger store at 9369 Telegraph Road in Redford Township will permanently close April 29.

The store’s lease expired in 2016, and an extension was agreed upon with the landlord so the store could try to improve sales through the holiday season and into early 2017, the company said.

The store’s closing was a decision made based on the company’s financial well-being, according to the company.

Kroger said employees will be offered similar jobs at other locations and will maintain their current pay and benefits.
