Robber armed with handgun steals phones from Pittsfield Township AT&T store

Police say employee was confronted by robber while opening store on Carpenter Road Monday morning

PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Pittsfield Township police have released the sketch of a man who is accused of robbing an AT&T store at gunpoint Monday morning.

Police said an employee was opening the store on Carpenter Road just after 9 a.m. when she was confronted by a man armed with a hand gun.

The man forced his way into the store and stolen several phones, police said.

The robber then got into a waiting newer model gray Nissan, possibly an Altima, police said.

Descriptions

Black male, medium build, approximately 5'8" to 5'10", wearing dark clothing and hoodie, 21-27 years old, his face was partially covered, but a thin goatee was visible. The second suspect (waiting in the vehicle) was described as a black male, also wearing dark clothing and a hoodie, and believed to be between 21-27 years old.
