Search continues for missing Farmington Hills woman after 1 month

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – It’s been a month since Danielle Stislicki went missing and investigators continue to search for the missing Farmington Hills woman.

Stislicki, 28, was last seen Dec. 2, when she was leaving her job at MetLife in Southfield.

Her vehicle, a Jeep Renegade, was found Dec. 3, parked outside her home at the Independence Green apartments in the area of Halsted Road and Grand River Avenue. Her purse was left in the SUV.

Police believe she has been the victim of a crime. They said it’s highly suspicious that Stislicki’s Samsung Galaxy Core Prime, with a rose-gold case, is missing. Her keys, which had a charm on them, are also missing.

The most recent development in the search for Stislicki was Dec. 22, when the Oakland County Crime Lab assisted the Farmington Hills police with a search of a home in Berkley. Police would not elaborate on the investigation at the Berkley home, other than to say that they were working to find any clues as to where Stislicki could be.

Stislicki’s photo and name have been shared thousands of times on social media -- #finddani.

Farmington Hills police, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police and the FBI are working the case. K-9s and helicopters have been used in the search.

Stislicki has brown, wavy, medium-length hair, is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 123 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black zip-up shirt, a blue Eddie Bauer coat and burgundy boots.
