Divers find body of missing swimmer at Stony Creek Lake Victim is 44-year-old Hazel Park man; search continues in Lake St. Clair for another missing swimmer
A dive team has recovered the body of a swimmer who went missing Monday evening from Stony Creek Lake.
Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said the body of a 44-year-old Hazel Park man was found around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. He had disappeared while swimming near Baypoint Beach.
The man's name has not yet been released.
Rescuers also looking for missing swimmer in Lake St. Clair Wickersham said a woman fell off a boat Monday as it headed back toward shore.
A 33-year-old Shelby Township man dove in after her. He went under the water and never resurfaced.
