Sketch of suspect in Pontiac break-in, sexual assault released

Woman said man forced open her screen door Wednesday

PONTIAC, Mich. – Police have released a sketch of a man sought in connection with a break-in and sexual assault in Pontiac.

A 43-year-old Pontiac woman said an unknown black man forced open her screen door Wednesday at 6:37 a.m. and pulled her down to the floor, demanding money. She said when she told him she didn't have any money, he forcibly sexually assaulted her.

The man grabbed a kitchen knife and forced the woman into a bedroom. He told her to stay in the bedroom while he fled the home.

Police responded to the scene and couldn't find the man. The incident is still under investigation.

The man is described as in his 20s, 5 feet 2 inches tall and 120 pounds. He was wearing a red shirt, gray hoodie and blue pants.
