Tony Hawk buys a castle in Detroit's Woodbridge neighborhood

DETROIT – Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk is now the proud owner of a home in Detroit.

Hawk, nicknamed "The Birdman," bought a castle in Detroit's Woodbridge neighborhood.

The Loft Warehouse's Jim Tumey posted a photo of the sale on Instagram, welcoming Hawk to the neighborhood.

Hawk is no stranger to Detroit - in 2013, he donated $30,000 to a skate park. He's also been posting pictures from around the area.
