TSA confiscates pink, bejeweled stun gun at Detroit Metro Airport

TSA says woman was cited, but allowed to continue on flight

ROMULUS, Mich. – A stun gun disguised in a pink, bejeweled lipstick case was confiscated Sunday at Detroit Metro Airport when it was spotted by a Transportation Security Administration agent in a woman's carry-on bag.

In a statement, TSA said the weapon was discovered while the bag was going through an x-ray machine.

Wayne County Airport Police claimed the weapon and cited the woman, a Mason resident, who was still able to make her flight to Florida.

If you'd like to check for allowed/prohibited items on flights, TSA has a list on their site.
