Lynn allegedly approached students on Feb. 25 and March 2 near Hazel Park High School, asking if they had any drugs or knew of any students that were selling narcotics. He claimed he was an undercover officer working the area.

Students in both incidents notified police of a suspicious person. Hazel Park police spotted him Tuesday and Lynn was arrested on outstanding warrants.

Police say during an interview with officers Lynn confessed to approaching the students.

He is being held at the Oakland County Jail on a $5,000 cash surety bond.
