TROY, Mich. – The driver of a pick-up truck was arrested Friday after fleeing a shooting scene in Detroit and leading police on a chase up Interstate 75.

Police said the chase began after the 44-year-old suspect fled a shooting scene where a 16-year-old was shot in the backside at Selden and Lincoln Streets.
The suspect drove northbound on I-75, got off at 14 Mile Road and drove into the parking lot of the Oakland Mall.
Police surrounded the pick-up and arrested him.

The teen is recovering from the gunshot.
Police said the suspect was not the shooter and they are looking for a black woman in her 30s who was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt. Police said she might be armed with a handgun.
