Cobo spokesman Phil Frame faces child porn charges

Veteran PR rep accused of possessing child porn images

MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – A well-known public relations professional from Macomb County faces child pornography charges.

Phillip Frame, 61, of Shelby Township, is charged with five counts of possessing child sexually abusive material and one count of using a computer to commit a crime after Macomb County Sheriff's detectives executed a search warrant at his home.

The Sheriff's Office said detectives seized both printed and digital pornographic images of children from Frame's home. They also found marijuana during their search, according to the Sheriff's Office. He faces an additional charge of possessing marijuana.

Frame was arraigned Monday and received a $10,000 cash-or-surety bond, which he posted. He is scheduled to return to court Jan. 19.

As a partner in the public relations firm Constand, Frame has served as spokesman for the authority that run Cobo Hall. He is also the former public relations representative for the Macomb County Board of Commissioners as well as Matty Moroun's Detroit International Bridge Company.
