HARPER WOODS, Mich. – A 25-year-old woman was arrested in Harper Woods in connection to shooting in Harper Woods early Saturday morning, according to the Harper Woods Department of Public Safety.
The shooting happened on the 20000 block of Roscommon Street around 12:30 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a man shot, lying in the street bleeding, but upon arrival had been informed that the victim's friend had taken him to a hospital.
Witnesses aided in the initial investigation and officers arrested a 25-year-old Harper Woods woman for assault with intent to commit murder. She is being held without bond.
The victim, a Detroit man, was in serious condition, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
