DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. – A woman wearing a hijab robbed the Comerica Bank in Dearborn Heights on Thursday afternoon.
The robbery happened around 3:40 p.m. when she passed a note to the teller indicating she had a bomb strapped to her body.

She fled the bank on foot heading south and got into a GMC Yukon. The Yukon is either tan or grey in color and is a late 90s or early 00s model.
The woman is described as black, around 35 to 40 years old, between 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall, and is heavy set. She was wearing a black hijab with a red scarf under it and a grey Detroit Tigers hooded sweatshirt with the old English D on the left sleeve.
