Women's March on Washington: 1 Million estimated turnout

Over 1 million women around the world rallied at women’s marches

In Washington, D.C alone, over 500,000 women gathered to march for women’s rights and a variety of other human rights issues.

All over the world, it is estimated that a total of 1 million women rallied from cities like New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Paris, Berlin and Los Angeles.

The turnout in Washington was so dense that marching down the original route near the National Mall became impossible.

Local 4’s Kimberly Gill was live in Washington, D.C. covering President Trump’s inauguration and the Women’s March.
