Events in Detroit for "America's Thanksgiving Parade" 2016

Don't miss out on the 90th annual "America's Thanksgiving Parade" in Detroit, a holiday tradition that dates back to 1926! The parade will step off on November 24th, 2016 at 8:50 a.m. at the intersection of Kirby and Woodward, and will head south on Woodward all the way through the heart of Detroit, ending at the intersection of Woodward and Congress. Don't miss out on all of the fun in the TV zone, starting at Grand River and Woodward.

Hob Nobble Gobble - Local 4 will be giving viewers a front row seat to one of the biggest parties of the year at the exciting "Hob Nobble Gobble presented by Ford" at Ford Field on November 18 at 8 p.m. Tune into Local 4 to see Karen Drew, Ben Bailey and Kimberly Gill host this half-hour special highlighting The Parade Company’s premier fund-raising event and revealing a sneak peek at the new floats in this year’s "America’s Thanksgiving Parade presented by Art Van."

Turkey Trot - The annual Turkey Trot takes place in downtown Detroit, a 34-year tradition of a variety of 10K, 5K, and one-mile races where thousands of participants often dress in costume. The Turkey Trot is also known as "The Parade before The Parade." Online registration is available here!
