DETROIT – Expect rain and isolated thundershowers this morning with occasional breaks in the actions.
A freezing rain advisory for parts of southeast Michigan expired at 7 a.m.Â
The roads are very wet and slick and could get worse in spots with pooling and ponding. Temps are struggling early around freezing and will gradually warm into the mid 40s or a bit warmer through the afternoon.

A few very weak or light areas of rain and snow are possible through the overnight, but most of Wednesday will be dry and improving. We will get into some sunshine with highs in the low 40s tomorrow afternoon.
Thursday and most of Friday look dry and unusually warm too. We’ll see morning lows most of the next week in the 30s and highs back into the mid and upper 40s, especially as we get into the weekend. There is a chance for rain moving up from the south late on Friday or Friday evening into early Saturday.
