Mild with scattered showers Friday morning

DETROIT –  Rain showers in the area this morning, but they are very light and lifting north and east. That means not everyone will get wet although you should prepare for a damp morning drive around Metro Detroit.

Temps are very mild in the middle and upper 40s to start. Those showers will move quickly through SE Michigan this Good Friday morning. Highs today will range from upper 50s to low 60s once the clouds thin out a bit in the afternoon.

Easter weekend will be dry with temps in the mid 50s Saturday. But early morning Easter Egg Hunts may be cooler than you'd like as we expect low to mid 30s early tomorrow.

It will be nice and warm on Easter Sunday with highs in the mid 60s to near 70° as skies go from mostly sunny to overcast late in the day.

Rain showers will approach the area Sunday night but may hold off until Monday. The start of the work and school week will be wet.

Rain showers Monday will not hurt temps too much as we hover in the mid 60s to near 70° depending on rain coverage.

Tuesday may start with scattered showers and then clearing and staying in the low to mid 60s.

With the big holiday weekend ahead, we will keep you posted for any changes but it looks like a great Easter weekend. Get your entire 7Day forecast on ClickOnDetroit.com and on the Weather links:
