DETROIT – It is the weekend after Tax Day, and Detroiters receive a well-deserved, sun-filled break Saturday. Showers return Sunday with a chance of thunderstorms.

Everyone's favorite, the Harlem Globetrotters are at the Palace Of Auburn Hills at 7pm. Saturday evening will have fair skies with mild conditions.

Saturday night will be fair and chilly with lows in the upper 30s and low 40s.

Sunday will start with sunshine but end with rain. Homeowners will want to get their outdoor chores and spring cleaning done in the morning. Afternoon showers will arrive from the south and west after lunchtime. Some showers will be heavy, and thunder has a chance of being heard in the late afternoon and evening.

Conditions remain wet and slippery Sunday night and very early Monday morning. The precipitation is ahead of a decent cool-down for early next week. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Jackets will be needed again each day with highs in the low and middle 50s and lows in the 30s.
