As super typhoon Mercanti approaches China, winds are starting to affect life on the ground.

A giant moon balloon was blown into traffic in Fuzhou, which is on China's east coast. Video of the inflated moon arrived Wednesday morning (Eastern Standard Time) on Twitter.
The balloon was part of the Mid Autumn Festival celebration, which is scheduled for Sept. 15 this year.
