Ann Arbor named best city to live in America

DETROIT – One of Metro Detroit's most popular cities has been named the best city to live in the country.

Niche released their annual 2017 Best Places to Live list, and out of 228 ranked cities, Ann Arbor is ranked No. 1 in America.

The rankings are decided by a number of factors, including cost of living, crime rates, education, health, nightlife and weather.

Coming in behind Ann Arbor was Naperville, Illinois, Arlington, Virginia and Columbia, Maryland.

Niche User: I live on a college campus in Ann Arbor and the area is great. There are seemingly endless choices of things to do and places to go, and every time you walk around town you notice something new. The campus is great and the area surrounding the campus is just as beautiful and enjoyable.
