ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Tech companies will throw their doors open to the public on June 16 for the A2 Tech Trek 2017 organized by Ann Arbor SPARK.
The free event offers the community a chance to see inside the doors of area tech companies and visit the Ann Arbor's unique downtown. Job-seekers, students, professionals or anyone curious about the Ann Arbor tech community (or cool office spaces) will benefit from the event.

What is Tech Trek?
Ann Arbor Tech Trek is a free community event and a terrific opportunity to see the real gems located inside the doors of many area tech companies. It’s also a chance to see what’s unique about downtown Ann Arbor.
Leading technology companies will open their doors to the public and showcase their latest innovations. Whether you’re a job seeker, student, professional, or someone curious about the Ann Arbor tech community, anyone is welcome to attend.
Each stop on the trek will create a fun, educational experience that reflects each company’s unique culture. Those on the tour will also enjoy refreshments, prizes, t-shirts and giveaways.
Tech Trek is a win-win for companies, community, and a great way for the youth to explore possible career paths.

What to Expect
Tech Trek takes place June 16 from 3-7 p.m.
With over 65 companies to visit, we recommend downloading the app (coming soon) which will have company descriptions and locations. This will allow you to navigate to as many companies as possible during the 4-hour open house. The day of the trek, you’ll start at the check-in location you chose during registration, pick up your t-shirt, grab your map, and begin the trek.

Last year
Tech Trek – an annual event hosted by Ann Arbor SPARK – welcomed local technology companies and incubators to show off their latest innovations to the public. With over 1,800 registrations and 400 walk-ins, it’s safe to say that our 2016 A2 Trek was a great example of the community coming together.
Participating companies created an experience that reflected their unique culture, as well as demonstrated their products or services. Companies made it their goal to inspire students and job seekers, and for community members to explore the businesses driving our economy forward.
A2 Tech Trek created some great buzz in the community. The Trek undoubtedly created a new level of pride for the Ann Arbor community.
