Man in his 50s found fatally shot inside vehicle on Detroit’s west side

A man in his 50s was found fatally shot inside a vehicle on Detroit’s west side.

The incident occurred on Friday (July 24) around 6:40 p.m. in the 20500 block of Fenmore Street after receiving a report of an unresponsive man inside a vehicle.

When officers arrived, they said they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Officials said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not released the victim’s identity, and investigators have not said what led to the shooting.

The investigation remains ongoing.
