Student robbed at gunpoint at University of Michigan's West Quad residence hall

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Students at the University of Michigan were assaulted and robbed at gunpoint Monday on the school’s Ann Arbor campus.
Police said the incident happened at the West Quad residence hall on Thompson Street.

According to police, three men entered a resident’s room at about 9 p.m. and assaulted two students.
Police said one of the men brandished a handgun and demanded property from a student.
The men were described as black and were between 18 and 20 years old. One of the men was described as 6 feet tall, has a thin build and a neck tattoo. The other two men were described as 5 feet 11 inches tall.
