Four candidates — two Wayne County Democrats and two Monroe County Republicans — have filed in the hopes of representing the newly-drawn 31st Michigan House of Representatives District, stretching from Metro Detroit to rural Lenawee County. The new district then dips south in Monroe County, picking up Milan, London, Exeter, Dundee and Raisinville townships, areas represented by Bellino and State Rep. TC Clements, R-Lambertville. It also includes one piece of Lenawee County, Macon Township, currently part of another district represented by Rep. Bronna Kahle, R-Adrian. Read more Washtenaw County election coverage here.
